Welcome to the official site of the Manhattan Shaolin Kung Fu Chan Center! This is a branch of the Shaolin Temple Overseas Headquarters. Welcome Venerable Shi Guo lin

Beginning November 10, 2009 adult classes will be taught be Shi Guo lin.

The Venerable Shi Guo Lin was born in Kaifong, Henan. He is the abbot of the Shaolin Temple Overseas Headquarters, the official U.S. branch of Henan's Song Shan Shaolin temple.

Shi Guo Lin is known throughout the United States and China for his kung fu and qi skills. He was dubbed Iron Arhat by the Shaolin monks for his Iron Body mastery. Shi Guo Lin began studying kung fu with his grandafather at a young age. He left home to become a Shaolin monk at 15, and continued his training at the Temple.
